These are two friends whose lives were undivided;
So let their memory be, now they have glided
Under their grave; let not their bones be parted,
For their two hearts in life were single-hearted.
-Percy Bysshe Shelley, 1822-
i sold this piece yesterday and i snapped a few last photos of it as i spent some time this morning getting it ready to be shipped to its' new home. i'm always a bit sad to let go a piece of my art. after all, everything i create has a little piece of my soul included. but sharing is good for the soul too and i hope it brings joy to the person who chose it.
This is just beautiful Vicki! I'm glad you share the beauty in your soul with others.
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful! I feel this way, too~ I love most of everything I read that Percy B. Shelley wrote! Such insight! Your soul is sharing facets that will make others smile! Their dazzle and your photos will fill your soul with more beauty~ (((hugs)))
ReplyDeleteA beautiful piece of art. With sending it out you are also sending a piece of yourself to bless the one who purchased it.
