i could never have one of those e-readers. i love books too much. the different shapes and sizes, the smell of them, the feel of the pages... i like fiction. i like artsy books. i like instructional books. i like inspiring books. i like blank books.
i literally have piles of books in every room of my house. i take books with me when i leave the house. so there is always something for me to read, no matter where i am.
and i read. every. single. day. and just now...when i stepped into my bedroom...and saw the sun streaming in...the way it does in the afternoon...casting a glow over my piles of books. well, i just wanted to stop right then and there...
and...read.
how about you...have you read anything good lately?
ooh. I just got done reading a period romance about the 1300s. It was AMAZING. Uh..don't ask me what it was called. I can't remember!
ReplyDeleteYou describe exactly how I feel! For me a book is a garden filled with ideas that sometimes sprout... I love books-I thought you were going to dive into the bed and do so...lol
ReplyDeleteWhen I was nine I wanted to to live in a library-ask my family-books in every room! I sorta got my wish~
i think i should have been a librarian! i wish i could have just settled into bed with my book stack just then, but i had to go pick up kids...maybe next time...
